SUPPORT TO SCHOOLS
Generating projects according to your astronomical curiosities
Up to now in Colombia there are no curricular guidelines to educate about astronomy in schools. However, there are many schools that are interested in teaching this science at different levels of primary and secondary education. This is a great challenge for teachers and administrators. Therefore, from the RECA education node we want to advise these schools.
Each school has its own needs and goals for introducing astronomy into its curriculum. We guide and support you.
COLEGIO ABRAHAM MASLOW
Since the beginning of our node in 2021, we have closely accompanied the Abraham Maslow School in ChÃa, Cundinamarca . From the education node we work with professor Karina Sepúlveda, in charge of teaching astronomy classes and managing the school's Astronomical Observatory.

INTERVIEWS IN PRIMARY
The school teaches astronomy classes at the primary level. RECA astronomers talk to primary school children to answer their questions in a series of interviews.
